Fittonia originates in a tropical environment, it thrives in an environment with high humidity. The fittonia plant likes moist, well-drained soil, but not too wet. Water moderately and let them dry out between waterings. The plant tolerates light to shade conditions, but will really thrive in bright, indirect light. Low light exposure will cause these plants to turn green, losing the vibrant splashes of vein color. The plants should be placed in a warm area, avoiding currents that will shock the plant as well as water that is too cold or hot. Feed as recommended for tropical houseplants according to our fertilizer brand's directions.
