AQUAMAT-PLUS is a two-component, brushable slurry it is used for waterproofing concrete elements, masonry or plaster surfaces, in cases ranging from simple moisture to water under pressure. Also suitable for waterproofing basements and water tanks. It enables the internal waterproofing of underground areas, since it can withstand negative pressure (water from the substrate side), thanks to its absolute bonding to the substrate. Suitable also for application on balconies and wet areas to be covered with tiles (bathrooms, kitchens). It consists of a cement-based powder mortar (component A) and an emulsion resin (component B). After hardening, it forms a seamless, jointless membrane with, total waterproofing against positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm according to EN 12390-8.
