Prunus serrulata is ornamental treee very easy to grow in virtually any location. Plant in a reliably sunny spot. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly until established. Prune or trim after plant has bloomed. Slow release feed in spring. Season spanning beauty starts with a burst of spring blooms amongst red-bronze foliage. The leaves mature to green taking on hues of yellow, orange and red in autumn. A classic tree favorite for landscape focal points, makes a breathtaking specimen plant.
