The plants thrive in summer but have to be moved indoors in the cooler season. The plant is similar to mandevilla and works outside in warm zones, or indoors as an accent houseplant. Dipladenia is a bushy plant whose stems grow and hang down. The plants have trumpet-shaped flowers with bright colors, but they have a larger flower usually in red, pink. Plants need bright light. The leaves are fine and the flowers beautiful in a wide range of colors.
