Polystyrene Layers
Polystyrene is often used in various applications as a hyrdoisolation layer, for acoustic isolation as well as a thermal underlayer for parquet of other flooring. When used properly the polystyrene layer can reduce steam penetration, as well as reduce noise levels by up to 24dB.
