Acacia dealbata is a fast growing ornamental tree that provides a quick source of shade for hot, dry locations. Yellow flowers line the branches in early spring and produce a rich, sweet fragrance. Blooming is followed by attractive seed pods. Very easy to grow and drought tolerant once established. Prune freely to maintain desired size and shape. Water once a week, ordinary, well-drained soil. Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring.
